Goodbye Edward, goodbye Peeta, hello Daemon!

Obsidian tells the story of Katy and Daemon. Katy moves to West Virginia to start over with her mom. Everything is okay until she meets her new neighbour: Daemon. He's hot, but oh so arrogant. Even though he's a jerk, Katy feels attracted to him. When Daemon saves Katy by freezing time, it's time for Daemon to explain what they really are — aliens. But can she handle the truth?

Wow just wow! I think I fell in love with another series. From the moment I read the first page, I knew I was going to love it. There was an instant smile on my face and I couldn't stop reading. I finished Obsidian in one day, which means that it's an amazing book. The story is amazing —hello? who doesn't love aliens— and characters are so enjoyable! I love Katy and Daemon, especially their love/hate relationship. I couldn't help laughing with them, they clearly don't see how smitten they are with each other.

I love Katy. She's like me, a brunette that loves reading. I love her character and I can relate to her in so many ways. And damn... Daemon is my new book boyfriend for sure! Even though he can be a jerk, he has his moments and those moments drive me crazy! He's so hot and an alien, which are bonus points! I love the aliens in the Lux series, they're special and not the weird green things. I think that this book is by far my favourite alien book!
